Eighteenth Dynasty
- Ahmose - forced the Hyksos out of Egypt, first pharaoh to have brain removed during mummification process
- Amenhotep I
- Thutmose I
- Thutmose II
- Hatshepsut - first female pharaoh to rule in the middle of a dynasty, she ruled Egypt while Thutmose III was the heir apparent. Hatshepsut took over in Thutmose III's infancy as regent, but later took the title of pharaoh. She ruled as pharaoh for ten years
- Thutmose III - upon regaining power from his stepmother, he removed her name from monuments in effort to remove her from memory
- Amenhotep II

- Akhenaten (aka Amenhotep IV)- attempted to turn Egypt into a monotheistic culture, declared that Aten was the only god and that he was the only priest.
- Tutankhamen - the famous boy king; most important contribution from him is that his tomb is the only one found in tact
